The Call To Witness

Anchor Scripture:

 1 Corinthians  9:16

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

1. You've no right to boast because of your preaching mandate.

2. Evangelism is an order from the Lord Jesus.

3. It is terrible to neglect the preaching of the Gospel of Salvation.

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing through the WORD of God."

Orders are to be dutifully executed even as we willfully learn to appreciate them.

Now, that His word is not elusive to our generation, we ought to cherish them like men who had discovered something more precious than diamonds and worth more than a found chest of gold

The Bible says, "In the days of Samuel when the voice of the Lord was scarce."

That means we are obviously advantaged for God had chosen to reveal himself to men to whom he'd pre-ordained to do exploits.

Have we been approaching 'evangelism' as a matter of free-choice or as of a duty?

A Soldier is under a superior authority to which he is duty-bound to obey all it orders.

No matter that intensity of the Battle or war; he is obligated to obey the 'Last Order'.

We are Soldiers of the Cross, that by the matter of the act of duty. We bound to rescue the perishing from Babylon.

Comfort is an odd terminology in the military dispensation. In that "soldiers do not entangle themselves in civilian affairs.

The Last Order is the Great Commission of the LORD Jesus.

There is a relationship between our own salvation and this God-given commission because the mystery of the reconciliation must always continue so that the Kingdom of Satan will depopulated to the glory of God.

"The blind cannot lead the blind". At least, in the world of blind men, the one-eyed man is King.

We to whom Christ had chosen to reveal himself are till-death-do-us-part bound to reveal him to others to whom he is yet to be revealed to.

Now, how is Christ reveal in mortal men?

1. Becoming him

By trudging up through Golgotha to the Sepulchre

2. Living as him

This is when we begin to walk in the spirit; refusing to gratify the flesh by the act of our human will

3. Dying as he did

Ridding our lives of that which impediment the manifestation of God's glory that we don't regard this life of vanity to mean much, rather our eyes are set upon the realities that are above.

4. The HolySpirit

He is the life-giving spirit that dwelleth in in us. He tabernacles himself in our lives to cause a quickening that will transform our mind so that we may become like Christ.

He is the Spirit of Jesus; only him can make us know Christ.

May you find him even as you pray that he comes and take charge in your life.

Heaven does not expect you to cope with sin but that you "come boldly unto the throne of grace." (Hebrews 4:16)

Do we continue in sin that grace may abound? God has forbade that we "like a dog return back to our vomit."

The definite purpose of evangelism is to recruit souls into Kingdom service by constructing a value system of Godliness and culture men to live a reverential life that can bring glory to God that the advancement of men may begin.

We aren't coming to the LORD because it was optional for us to choose to or not to but that we are bound to live for him and as him because he died for us and as us "that we may no longer live for ourselves but unto Christ which died for us.

Yes, Jesus died in your stead to give you glory.

And we may never share in his eternal glory unless we die to ourselves and much more resurrect to live as him.

Your change is hinged upon your decisions. It must all start somewhere and it begins in your heart because what does not really affect your heart cannot change your life.

Your deliverance and restoration is tied to your decision to follow Jesus.

Whether you like it or not, God has a purpose for your Life--- that you may know him in partnership with the HolySpirit.

Faith is the distance between your afflictions and your breakthrough.

If you will follow Jesus everything else will fall into place.

[Hebrews  2:9]

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

[Hebrews 2:10]

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

 [Hebrews 2:11]

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

[Hebrews  2:12]

Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

[Hebrews  2:13]

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.

[Hebrews  2:14]

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

[Hebrews  2:15]

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

[Hebrews  2:16]

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

[Hebrews  2:17]

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

[Hebrews  2:18]

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

There is too much of injustice in the Earth, and we must understand that this Life is spiritual.

Today, God wishes to open our eyes that we may see that we are embattled in this world full of evil that we are.

"The Devil is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour."

But when ever he eventually open our eyes to see these battles, he will even then provide the fortification that we need and grant us access to the arsenals of war.

Exodus  4:17

"And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs."
