Pain

Pain

Tearless eyes but I am in pain,

Wearing a fake smile,

Since I can not complain,

Yet my hands are in chain,

The problem is I am a man,

And crying is not fun,

Pain.

Betrayal kisses,

With fake promises,

Living to please,

Yet deep inside I am hurting,

With a past that keeps hunting,

Yes hunting me down,

Pain.

My body, now my shadow is bleeding,

Denials,

Life is full of many trials,

From one hell pit to another,

Maybe it is generational curse,

All I do is to admire neighbours' cars,

Pain.

Broken bleeding heart,

Yet I am not fat,

Living in a leaking roof hut,

Pain poverty my daily friend,

I am in pain I can't pretend,

But still I am waiting for the Lord send,

Pain.
