Hush, there now
don't speak, don't say
Just breath,

Feel not the sadness of my heart
not the pain in my skin
but the love we shared in our youth.

There, there
Gently settle now
softly I hold on you
Graciously I look at you
Not with my eyes - Oh no
but my heart

Let me dry my wells
Let my tears flow
they will submerge my fears-
Fear of parting
How I want this moment to last a little longer
I need more time
Just to say how I love you
how I adore you

So my darling, when you need me
I'll be there for you all the way
I'll be there your whole life through
I'll be there this I promise you

The love you gave will always live
You were to me the greatest love of all
You took my weakness and you made me strong
With that I will always love you 'till forever comes

And so now...
we are at that point
where we are to part
but then you should know
Goodbye is the saddest word I have to hear
good bye is the last time I will hold you near
now our time is up my dear
and I don't know a painless way to do it,
Don’t know the words to capture a heart so full and a longing so intense
I guess it's going to have to hurt, I guess I'm going to have to cry
But I've long ago learned not to be picky in farewells.
They were neither guaranteed nor promised.
How lucky we are, more than blessed,
To bless our parting with a good-bye.
